Dear Kevin,

Our home was built in 1993 and needed a new roof at the above address before the hurricane season began. We had three estimates including Atlantic Total Solutions which was advertised in the Mint magazine with a $300.00 off any re-roofing. We called and scheduled an appointment with Kyle, your son and co-owner, to give us a proposal. We were given a folder which included copies of information about Atlantic Total Solutions. I also called the Better Business of Jacksonville which their rating, being in business since 1973, was 'A+'.

 

The crew of three men, Tony in a supervisor position, Rusty and Forrest were experienced, professional and worked together in harmony. They told us we had a problem with the roof we were unaware of which required replacement of deteriorated plywood. Fortunately, in the roofing agreement it states, "Includes replacement of rotten plywood". The other estimates would have required an additional charge. Atlantic Total Solutions also has a ten year workmanship warrantee for which the others had only five.

 

When the job was finished, the workers removed the debris and went over the yard with a magnet to collect roofing nails for safety.

 

We've highly recommended Atlantic Total Solutions to our neighbors as their homes also need re-roofing. We are very pleased with your employees and the appearance and color of our new roof. When our home needs painting you will get a call.

We hired Kevin to paint the exterior of our home in February, 2009. During the decision process, Kevin's name came up several times from various neighbors and business contacts. Kevin was prompt in returning phone calls, and prompt and accommodating in setting appointments. His pricing was competitive, his referrals outstanding. Needless to say, we hired him.

 

As our renovation grew, we extended the contract to include the interior of our home. On both projects Kevin was both helpful and patient during of color selection. I can not say enough about the work ethic of his employees. Without fail they showed up on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They were the first to arrive and the last to leave. They were always respectful. Extremely neat.

 

Kevin not only gave great service prior to the contract, but followed up with the same level of professionalism during our renovation (working very well with a number of other sub-contractors). Then followed up yet again after all invoices were paid. He took great pride in his work and certainly went the extra mile to make sure we were happy.

Dear Kevin,

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for the excellent work done by you and your firm on our new home. The 203K loan program is challenging in that the contractor must agree to get paid in stages, only when the work is complete. You abided by that schedule, even when the weather caused a delay in finishing the roof. Your prices were more than fair and your understanding of the loan program made the experience much easier. Everyone at Atlantic Total Solutions went to extra lengths to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the results.

To whom it may concern,

Atlantic Total Solutions has from start to finish been a pleasure to work with. To begin with they responded the same day I called and arrived on time for the scheduled appointment, and the proposed cost quoted by Kevin Maxwell literally saved me thousands of dollars. Everything about their comapny was professionally executed.

For one thing, Atlantic Total Solutions is essentially a turn key operation. I literally didn't have to go anywhere else to look for help in what I needed to have done. They do it all! They took care of my roof, plumbing, central heat and air, garage door replacement, and more. Additionally his crew seemed clean, well mannered, and got about the duties at hand with a focussed quickness and a sense of pride that took my breath away. To find a contractor that truly cares about his reputaion as well as the community at large is (as you know) very hard to find.

In the end everything detailed on the contract was completed to the the letter. There were even some adjustments along the way that needed to be amended to the contract in the course of work being done that was taken care of simply and fairlly.

After all is said and done I would sincerely suggest that anyone interested in having a highly experienced and reasonably priced contractor do their work call Atlantic Total Solutions. They'll be glad they did.

The crew was professional, polite and very personable during the entire process; from removing the shingles on the first story, to removing 90 years of paint, to restoring 3 windows, and then repainting the house and detached garage. They left our yard clean at he end of each workday, and communicated any issues we needed to be aware of. They even had you call us and tell you about a problem with our roof that we were unaware of.
